WHAT IS A PROFESSIONAL PET SITTER? |
|
|
A professional pet sitter provides for your pets' needs when you can't be there. The needs may be as simple as a noon-day walk while you're at work, or as comprehensive as total care for your pets and your home while you are out of town. Because the pet sitter works in your own home, your animals are able to remain in their familiar environment with as little disruption as possible to their routine. The sitter will feed, exercise, play with and clean up after your pets, and can also administer medications if needed. Lake Minnetonka Pet Sitters are educated and experienced in caring for a variety of pets; we are also bonded and insured. |

WHY SHOULD I USE A PET SITTER? |

Your pets benefit from remaining in their normal environment with a routine similar to what they are used to. They do not need to travel or stay in an unfamiliar place. For the owner we provide the peace of mind of knowing that your pets and home are well cared for without placing undue burdens on family, neighbors and friends. |

ARE YOU LICENSED? |
|
|
The pet sitting industry is self regulated, so there is no way of being licensed like a contractor or cosmetologist would be. Lake Minnetonka Pet Sitters is insured, bonded and also a member of Pet Sitters International and Minnesota Professional Pet Sitters Network. |

Cost varies depending upon the time needed to care for the pets and proximity to our service area. Call for more information or to set up a free initial consultation at your home.

We serve the Minnesota cities of Deephaven, Excelsior, Long Lake, Minnetonka Beach, Minnetrista, Mound, Navarre, Orono, Saint Boni, Shorewood, Spring Park, Tonka Bay and Wayzata, as well as portions of Chanhassen, Chaska, Eden Prairie, Maple Plain, Minnetonka, Victoria, Waconia and Watertown. If we do not provide service in your area, we can refer you to someone who does.

DO YOU OFFER OVERNIGHT STAYS? |
|
|
We do provide overnight stays for those pets who like the extra company. This also offers an increased level of security for your home. |

WHAT ABOUT OTHER HOME SERVICES? |
|
|
As part of our service we bring in the mail and newspaper daily. We also water your indoor/outdoor plants as needed and can put the garbage out for pickup. This provides a lived-in look for your home. |

SOMETIMES MY PETS GO WITH ME. WILL YOU CARE FOR MY HOME EVEN WHEN MY PETS ARE NOT THERE? |
|
|
We provide house checks for homes while you and your pets are away. If your pet accompanies you on vacation or stays at a boarding kennel, we can still come in to care for plants, bring in the mail, feed the fish and check on the security of the home.
